New Chapter

Hi folks! It has been a while since I wrote here. A lot happened in the past 3 months. I’ve already wrote about spending a butt load of money in games, but I haven’t talked about spending millions on Steam games during summer sale.

I know. It’s a lot. I ended up playing a handful of them before I lost the motivation. It happens…. I hope to write a review for the games that I have finished/tried though!
Then in July I was absolutely fucked up. My original meds ran out and I had new meds in that was just not it…. It turned me into a suicidal mess. Uh… in lighter news… I finished The Amazing Digital Circus! It was so fun binging it. But then the depression hit again…. A lot of downs this month…. Fortunately, I got my original meds back and I immediately felt better afterwards.
August was filled with so much improvements. My well-being has never been so peak. The biggest win this month was getting our teeth treated. Some parts have dental trauma so finally getting our teeth cleaned was huge! Besides that we started showering more consistently, all thanks to getting a shower hook (we didn’t have a shower hook beforehand). We also feel more grounded when we shower!! We used to stay in the shower for an hour or more just… Dissociating…. Now it takes us fifteen minutes!!!
Another thing we did was TRE or tension and trauma release exercise every other night before bed. This topic is a lot so I might make a separate blog entry about this. But long story short I feel much more relaxed after doing TRE. If you are going to try it, I kindly advise being careful with it as it can bring up memories.
Now we reach September! So far, I’m back to hyperfocusing on playing Flight Rising and coding my site. Working on these two while listening to music and drinking hot pulled tea is pure bliss (yes, it does ruin my sleep schedule).
Tomorrow, I’m going to start a new chapter in my life. I’m going to be 25 years old! We have mixed feelings on this. Some parts are happy to celebrate and some others have their concerns. Birthdays are a bittersweet thing for us. So, as always, we’ll go through it with compassion for each other. That’s all for now. See y’all in the next entry! Until then, I hope you take care.
